Education:  MBA (Finance) from Stern – New York University and a Post-graduate Certificate in Finance and Investments from Wharton – University of Pennsylvania.


Alex Asiedu is the Chairman of over twenty companies in Ghana, Dubai and Hong Kong with wide scope of operations from Steel Manufacturing, Electronic Products, Oil Palm Plantations, Business Development between Asia and Africa, Real Estate Development, Property Management, Warehousing, Energy Services, Mining, Refinery, Tank Farm Development, Commodities Trading, Equipment Hiring & Haulage Services, Banking, Charity Services, to the Hospitality Industry. He directly employs over 3,530 workers.


Alex is also currently the Chairman of The Sun Publishing Ghana Limited, which publishes the most comprehensive weekend paper called “Weekend Sun”. This is a subsidiary of The Sun Publishing Limited, Nigeria with its Daily Sun newspaper being the highest selling newspaper in Nigeria. This is under SLOK Holding (Nigeria), a conglomerates consisting of companies with successful operations in Oil & Gas, Banking & Finance, Airlines, Media & Publishing, Real Estate, Trading, Manufacturing, Insurance and Tourism in over eleven countries.
